27* Ain’t it fun

I know this band doesn’t need any presentation but anyhow, here it goes…

“Paramore”

An alternative rock/punk/pop band 🙂 mixed with some emo and indie style (seriously) that was formed back in 2004 in Tennessee by Hayley Williams and 4 other members who have changed along the years. Nowadays the band is conformed by 3 members including Hayley as main vocalist and only woman.

The band has been nominated for different awards and has also win many of them, but lately the most outstanding gain are the 10 world records they stablished on the official music video of today’s song launched on december 2nd of 2013.

By the way, I loved this video. The different scenarios and shots, plus their clothes from Hayley’s dresses, Jeremy’s yellown shirt and denim vest, to everyone’s boots and jackets.

Also who wouldn’t like to smash clocks with guitars, catch feathers, break vinyls, run through banners, do carwheels or walk backwards with STUFF ANIMALS!

The video along with the music (or the other way around) matches perfectly with  the lyrics and her voice. Powerful, strong and sharing fun, specially when the rhythm changes just as life does.

Sometimes we are up, then we are down or may be alone… I don’t mind, time heals all wounds. Or so I hope. In the end we must learn to be by our own, to be strong enough to fight the world if necessary, to get out of our comfort zone, to stop being afraid of changes and accepting new situations with humility.

…And the funny lyrics :

I don’t mind letting you down easy but just give it time
If it don’t hurt now then just wait, just wait a while

You’re not the big fish in the pond no more
You are what they’re feeding on

So what are you gonna do when the world don’t orbit around you?

Ain’t it fun living in the real world
Ain’t it good being all alone

Where you’re from you might be the one who’s running things
Well, you can ring anybody’s bell to get what you want

You see, it’s easy to ignore a trouble when you’re living in a bubble

(…)

Ain’t it good to be on your own
Ain’t it fun you can’t count on no one
(…)

Don’t go crying to your mama ’cause you’re on your own in the real world

Ain’t it fun
Baby, now you’re one of us
(…)

Ain’t it fun living in the real world
(‘Cause the world don’t orbit around you)
Ain’t it good, ain’t it good being all alone (oh)
(…)

This is the real world.
