44* I’ve just seen a face

A big deal. I could even say this was -the best band- ever.

“The Beatles”

English band from Liverpool. Started playing in 1960. Their music style is versatile and timeless.

Members: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison (!)

Even though the band only lasted 10 years they created a sociocultural change, they won 10 Grammy Awards and released 12 albums.

Here a music video  (with lyrics in spanish on it) of this song.

For some reason when we like something we kinda murmur “mmm” and when you do it in a song it gives you -and points out- a feeling of joy beyond description.

This song is about the very first moment when someone interesting catches your eye. No matter if it was a second sometimes that person is hard to forget specially when we truly believe that she/he is perfect for us.

+Based on the second verse of the song do you think this song was written by a dreamer or a realist?

Anyhow this song express perfectly what “falling in love” is. The simple optimism you feel when you meet someone special and you actually don’t need more words to describe it than this few verses in a song.

…And the legendary lyrics (english/spanish) :

I’ve just seen a face,
I can’t forget the time or place where we just met.
She’s just the girl for me and want all the world to see we’ve met

Had it been another day
I might have looked the other way
nd I’d have never been aware
but as it is I’ll dream of her tonight

Falling, yes I am falling, and she keeps calling me back again.

I have never known the like of this
I’ve been alone and I have missed things
And kept out of sight but other girls were never quite like this
