65* Baby I’m yours

A sweet friend/reader of mine told me today that she missed reading stuff on my blog, mostly because I haven’t upload much lately. So shout out to this amazing person who not just made my day but also made me write again!

And to celebrate that I’m back blogging we rather do it with the best music.

Arctic Monkeys

Indie rock (Without hesitation) +post punk

Four members. One English band (Winner mix)

Formed in 2002.

Even though I’ve become an addict of A.M. (their latest album) and “Fluorescent Adolescent” is by far one of my favorite songs of all times…

Today I chose to go back to the chessy-basics with this song which is a cover they did of Barbara Lewis’ original.

And I must say this melody is more than chessy but a clear statement of a feeling that won’t change no matter how much music genders evolve. Because it isn’t just the 50’s rock&roll rhythm it has but also the message.

If you were to watch this Music Video or even just listen to the song with your eyes closed you’ll find that everything takes you back in time. In a really nice nostalgic way.

So if you were wondering how true love sounds like… Here’s your answer ❤

…And the way-too-sweet lyrics (english/spanish) :

Baby, I’m yours
And I’ll be yours until the stars fall from the sky,
Yours, until the rivers all run dry
In other words, until I die

Baby, I’m yours
And I’ll be yours until the sun no longer shines,
Yours, until the poets run out of rhyme
In other words, until the end of time

I’m gonna stay right here by your side,
Do my best to keep you satisfied
Nothin’ in the world could drive me away
‘Cause every day, you’ll hear me say

Baby, I’m yours
And I’ll be yours until two and two is three,
Yours, until the mountains crumble to the sea
In other words, until eternity
